ECB Support Coach

As the club season slowly begins to emerge outside, we’re writing to clubs to make you aware of some opportunities to give your volunteers a great training course, delivered by our staff to give them the knowledge, skills and confidence to support qualified coaches at your club.

We’re also very pleased to advise that we are subsiding the national recommended retail price by 50% so the cost to attend is reduced from £40 to £20 per person by using the discount code HCB20.

Who is it for? 

Anyone aged 16 and over wishing to support qualified coaches inspire players and make a difference to the game.

What is the programme content?

• Supporting coaches and players
• Communicating with coaches and players
• Supporting fielding, bowling and batting

What commitment does the programme require?

• One face-to-face module lasting 3 hours
• Two bitesize e-learning modules lasting 10-15 minutes each
• Multiple choice question to confirm learning

What are the prerequisites for certification?

• 16 years of age
• Valid ECB DBS
• Valid safefuarding training (e.g. Safeguarding for Coaches and Activators)
