The Hampshire Slam: Where Midweek Cricket Hits the Mark
Hit the Midweek Mark – Play The Slam and be part of the action!
The Slam has become a key part of midweek cricket in Hampshire since its launch in 2022, expanding to offer both men's and women's competitions. The men’s competition now aims to crown a county-wide short format champion, while the women’s competition has been so popular that plans are underway to create a higher-tier format for Division 1 players.
Entries for the 2025 Hampshire Slam are open, and teams have until 31st January 2025 to register.

Men’s Cup
Format: 11-a-side, T20
Player Level: Hampshire Cricket League Division 1 and below
Match Days: Midweek evenings, one game every fortnight
Finals: 4-team Finals Day on Saturday, 20th September 2025
2024 Winners: Southampton Community
Women’s Cup
Format: 8-a-side, 16 overs each
Player Level: Hampshire Cricket League Division 1 and below
Match Days: Midweek evenings, one game every fortnight
Finals: Final on Sunday, 21st September 2025
2024 Winners: None (inaugural year in 2025)
Women’s Shield
Format: 8-a-side, 16 overs each
Player Level: Hampshire Cricket League Division 2 and below
Match Days: Sundays, weekly games from August
Finals: Final on Sunday, 21st September 2025
2024 Winners: Finals scheduled for April 2025
