Hampshire Cricket Board is delighted to announce that registrations for the Hampshire Champions Programme 2025 are now open to all young cricketers aged 13-16!
This exciting programme empowers participants to develop their skills in coaching, officiating, leadership, and volunteering. With two levels available – Bronze, open to all, and Silver, for those in Year 9-11 at school – the programme offers tailored opportunities to inspire and nurture future cricket leaders.
Programme Highlights
Participants in the Hampshire Champions Programme will receive training in:
Participants will log their volunteering hours at their club, tracked in a dedicated booklet signed off by a club mentor.
Examples of volunteering opportunities include:
All participants will receive a Hampshire Champions T-shirt, a child and adult ticket plus parking to the first day of Hampshire v Somerset in the Rothesay County Championship, and the opportunity to act as ambassadors for cricket in their communities.

Cost: £45 per participant
Programme Dates and Locations:
Bronze Programme (Open to those in Year 8 - Year 10 at school)
Silver Programme (Open to those in Year 9 - Year 11 at school who have completed Bronze or have more experience with coaching/volunteering)
Reward and Recognition
On completing their booklet, both Bronze and Silver participants will be invited to the Metro Bank Hampshire v Leicestershire fixture, a celebration event to honour all those who successfully complete the programme.
