Cricket in Hampshire wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible people working behind the scenes week in, week out - and now, Hampshire Cricket Board is shining a brighter spotlight on those who make the game possible.
Hampshire Cricket Board is proud to introduce the Cricket Collective Champion of the Month, a refreshed and rebranded version of its much loved Volunteer of the Month award. The new initiative has been created to celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals who help strengthen and support cricket across communities throughout the county.
From scoring and coaching, to grounds work, organising fixtures, running junior sections, fundraising, and everything in between, these champions play a vital role in helping clubs thrive and ensuring cricket remains enjoyable and accessible for players of all ages.
The continued success of the award reflects just how valued volunteers are across the county. Last year alone, Hampshire Cricket Board received over 100 Volunteer of the Month nominations, highlighting the incredible depth of support and commitment within the cricket community.
Hampshire Cricket Board has confirmed that every person nominated will receive:
A certificate
A letter of recognition from Hampshire Cricket Board
Each monthly winner will receive:
A certificate and letter of recognition from Hampshire Cricket Board
A pair of tickets to a match or event at The Utilita Bowl

All nominees will also be entered into the 2026 Cricket Collective Awards, offering the opportunity to be recognised as part of the county’s wider celebration of volunteers.
