Hampshire D40 Academy 2025 – Open for Registrations!

Open training session at Utilita Bowl offers pathway for mainstream club players with a disability to represent Hampshire.

Hampshire Cricket Board is excited to announce that registrations are now open for the D40 Academy Programme, a key part of our Hardball Disability cricket pathway.

We are seeking mainstream club players with a disability who have aspirations to represent Hampshire and progress through the ECB Disability Pathway.

What is the D40 Academy?

Players selected for the squad will:

  • Compete in a County Competition regulated by ECB (subject to a successful player profiling process & registration for ECB Disability Competitions).
  • Develop their game with specialist coaching and strive to move through the Hardball Disability Pathway.

Hampshire has a proud history of success in Disability cricket. Our D40 Quest side has been one of the strongest in the country, winning the County Championship in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2022.

Some Hampshire players have even gone on to play in the Disability Premier League (DPL) and represent England at international level (subject to DPL Squad Selection & International Squad Selection).
