HACO Spring Umpiring Education Programme

The Hampshire Association of Cricket Officials (HACO) Spring Education Programme is set to begin, offering a range of courses to support umpires at various levels. Whether you're a player stepping in for a few overs, a club umpire looking to build confidence, or someone keen to support Women's Softball Cricket (W10), there's a session for you.

Club Umpire Course:

This course is designed for club umpires who have completed a qualification and want to further develop their knowledge and skills. Sessions cover key topics, including pre-match duties, working with a colleague, managing ground, weather, and light conditions, and handling player conduct and report writing. Ideal for those looking to build confidence and improve their umpiring expertise.

  • 20th March – Burridge CC, SO31 1BS

• Time: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM 

• Cost: FREE

Women's Softball Umpire Course:

This course provides an overview of key Laws of Cricket while clarifying playing regulations unique to Women's Softball Cricket (W10). It also includes a brief introduction to scoring notation, making it ideal for those looking to support the game with confidence.

• Time: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
