HCB Annual Impact Report 2023

HCB’s annual Impact Report was presented to its members at its recent AGM.  The report highlights the progress being made to grow the game in local communities, as well as the achievements within recreational cricket clubs across the county.

2023 highlights include:

• Working in more primary schools than ever before in lower socio-economic areas
• Continued growth in girl’s cricket - 117 girl’s teams within 36 clubs in Hampshire
• Introduction of the Hampshire Slam Women’s Competition, providing additional mid-week cricket
• The inaugural Wicketz Iftar Celebration at St Mary’s Leisure Centre, Southampton
• Over 3,200 young people introduced to cricket for the first time through All Stars and Dynamos Cricket
• £132,000 awarded to clubs through the County Grants Fund

Many of the achievements featured in the report are dependent on the commitment of volunteers in clubs and local communities, thank you for all your hard work.
