June - Volunteer of the Month Winner

A huge congratulations to Martyn Ball from Sway CC who has won June's Volunteer of the Month competition!

Martyn's ongoing volunteer work has been recognised by his peers who have nominated him for multiple reasons to do with his continuous support for the club. He has taken on the roll as U13's team manager and has had a huge role in getting both parents and players involved at the club. Since his involvment, he has recruited parent umpires as well as encouraged four U13 players to make their debut in the adult team. Martyn has significantly helped develop the players through the implement of Play Cricket Scorer Pro which produces wagon wheels to help the coaching teams. In a small club like Sway CC, work often falls on too few and with individual's like Martyn, this has enabled the club to be hugely successful.

Martyn has won a pair of tickets to a Hampshire Hawks One Day Cup fixture at the Utilita Bowl.

We recieved a large number of nominations this month which is amazing as it shows how great our volunteers are around the county and the hard work they put in.
