For Grounds Volunteers & Club Staff
Ideal for grounds volunteers, club staff, and anyone involved in cricket pitch maintenance, the course offers hands-on learning and expert advice tailored to club-level facilities.
The session will cover all key aspects of preparing and maintaining high-quality match pitches, including:
Marking out and surface assessment
Mower types, cutting heights, and rolling
Wetting and drying techniques
Brushing, raking, and mowing routines
Match day preparation
Foot hole repairs and post-match clean-up
Re-use of pitches during longer games
Applying loam, seed, and fertiliser
Repair tools, materials, and aftercare
