Record-Breaking Celebrations at Hampshire Cricket Board’s Cricket Collective Event

Hampshire Cricket Board honours 250 volunteers and 236 nominations across 15 categories at the annual celebration event

On Friday 7th November, Hampshire Cricket Board hosted the much-anticipated Cricket Collective Celebration Event at Utilita Bowl, welcoming a record 236 nominations across 15 categories - the highest in the award's history. The evening celebrated the dedication and passion of cricket volunteers, who are the backbone of the sport across the region.

The event brought together 250 volunteers in a lively atmosphere, coinciding with the popular Utilita Bowl Fireworks event. Attendees had the chance to mingle, share stories, and enjoy food and drinks before the awards presentation began.

The evening featured a series of presentations recognising individuals and groups for their invaluable contributions to cricket. Hampshire Cricket Board praised volunteers for their tireless efforts, highlighting how their commitment ensures the game continues to thrive in communities across Hampshire.

This year’s nominations highlighted outstanding achievements across a range of categories:

"The event was absolutely fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many volunteers come together.
