Role Vacancy: D40 Head Coach & Super 9s Head Coach

Hampshire Cricket Board are recruiting a D40 Head Coach and Super 9s Head Coach

D40 Head Coach

Hampshire Cricket Board (HCB) is responsible for growing the recreational game in the county.  We aim to inspire girls and boys to play cricket through the delivery of school, club and community-based programmes.

Our County Disability Cricket Pathway has been regarded as one of the best in the country. From our grassroots programme, to our multi title winning 1st XI (D40) who again won Division 1 of the National Disability League in 2022. Our D40 side consists of the best disabled cricketers within the county. Many of these players play a high level of club cricket and we are fortunate to possess multiple disability international players within our squad. HCB are seeking to appoint a Head Coach to lead our D40 side throughout 2024.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated coach with at least an ECB Core Coach qualification to join our successful team. The coach will have an infectious passion for Cricket and developing players. Experience of coaching adults is desirable and exposure to working within disability environments will be a distinct advantage.

The successful person will work with our Assistant Head Coach to lead high quality training sessions at Utilita Bowl’s Indoor School from January-April as well as leading the side on match days during the season.
