Club Safeguarding Officers play a crucial role in ensuring that cricket clubs are safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments where everyone can enjoy the game. To fulfill their responsibilities effectively, Safeguarding Officers must complete two mandatory training courses:
These training courses are required to be updated every three years to ensure that Safeguarding Officers remain equipped with the latest knowledge and best practices. Additionally, the Club Safeguarding Officer must complete an enhanced DBS check through the England and Wales Cricket Board.
