Safeguarding and First Aid courses

Safeguarding courses:

This is an opportunity for clubs to send new or existing safeguarding officers to face to face training sessions as part of their engagement/ongoing commitment to safeguarding within cricket. 

What is Safe Hands?

Safe Hands Management System (SHMS) SHMS is an online Club Management Tool whereby the ECB will require all County Boards and Clubs to input the details of individuals in key regulated roles or those with responsibilities for the management and running of County and Club activities.

Workshop dates:

All Safeguarding courses are FREE and will be running on the following dates:

• 27th February 2023 @ New Milton CC (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
• 9th March 2023 @ Portsmouth CC (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
• 23rd March 2023 @ Grayshott CC - Broxhead Ground (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
• 20th April 2023 @ Utilita Bowl (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
• 27th April 2023 @ Odiham & Greywell CC (6.30pm - 9.30pm)

First Aid courses:

Coaches should look to update their First Aid qualification every 3 years and should check with their deployer as to their First Aid requirement. Our First Aid courses will provide coaches with knowledge, practical skills and confidence to enable them to deal with basic first aid issues that may arise during the course of their coaching.

All First Aid courses are £25 and will be running on the following dates:

• 8th March 2023 @ New Milton CC (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
• 15th March 2023 @ Grayshott CC (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
• 30th March 2023 @ Toynbee School (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
• 18th March 2023 @ Odiham & Greywell CC (6.30pm - 9.30pm)
