Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Wicketz Restart

Join our Lord's Taverners Wicketz programme as it restarts in Southampton

Following a brief end of summer break, our Wicketz sessions are ready to get started ahead of a busy winter.

Wicketz is a community cricket programme, funded by Lords Taverners, targeting areas of deprivation, high population and urban communities. The programme is aimed at boys and girls aged 8-19 and seeks to provide weekly cricket opportunities, alongside themed life-skill workshops designed to help young people gain understanding, qualifications and improve their lives.

Southampton timetable:

Mondays – Girls Only Wicketz Hub – 4.30-5.30pm @ St Mary’s Leisure Centre

Wednesdays – Ages 8-12 – 4-5.30pm @ St Mary’s Leisure Centre

Thursdays – Ages 11-16 – 4-5.30pm @ St Mary’s Leisure Centre

Fridays – Ages 8-16 – 4.30-6pm @ Oasis Academy Mayfield
