Girls Skills Development Programme

Hampshire Cricket Board is excited to continue its Girls' Skills Development Programme, a non-selective initiative designed for U11 and U13 girls looking to develop their cricketing skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment. The programme focuses on building confidence and making the transition to hardball cricket.

This initiative provides young players with the opportunity to enhance their skills while progressing from softball to hardball cricket. Each session includes:

  • Skill Development – Coaching in batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket-keeping tailored to hardball cricket.
  • Confidence Building – Sessions designed to improve resilience and familiarity with hardball play.
  • Supportive Environment – A welcoming atmosphere that encourages learning and personal growth at every stage.

Led by experienced UKCC2/ECB Core Coaches, this programme is open to all skill levels and takes place across four districts in Hampshire:

  • North – Yateley School
    Central – Perins School
South – West Hill Park School
    West – Walhampton School

Whether you’re just starting your hardball cricketing journey or looking to take your game to the next level, we can’t wait to see you at one of our sessions!
