Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Hampshire's NatWest T20 Blast meeting with Gloucestershire was abandoned due to heavy rain at the Utilita Bowl

Hampshire's NatWest T20 Blast match against Gloucestershire at the Utilita Bowl on Saturday 25th June has been abandoned due to heavy rain.

The crowds have come out in numbers and unfortunately the weather's defeated us. There was lightning in the background and heavy rain - the ground staff were spot on and it was right to call it off. In Twenty20 cricket you aim to win your home games and the weather hasn't helped us do that this season. You just have to accept it and move forward.
