Joseph Eckland And Daisy Mullan Released
Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
Hampshire Cricket are pleased to announce the new Hampshire Academy intake ahead of the 2017 season.
16-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman Miles Kantolinna and all-rounder George Pardoe are two of the three new faces to join the set-up this year, with 15-year-old spinner Zac Organ also included in this year's seven-strong squad.
The quartet of Rory Hipwell, Tom Scriven, Chris Searle and Felix Organ (brother of fellow Academy player, Zac) return once again this season, after featuring for the side throughout the 2016 campaign.
We are pleased to welcome George, Miles and Zac to the Hampshire Academy as part of this year's intake. They join four quality cricketers in Felix, Tom, Rory and Chris who were all involved last season.
Charlie Freeston, Head Of Player Development
All of the guys have impressed throughout the winter and continue to work hard ahead of what we hope will be an excellent 2017 season.
The Academy's first set of fixtures see them take on New Milton, St. Cross Symondians, Andover and South Wilts during the opening month of the season.
14 further fixtures will follow with the 2017 campaign due to conclude with an away trip to Bashley (Rydal) on 2nd September.
The Hampshire Academy finished ninth in last year's Southern Premier League, claiming three victories including an emphatic win over 2015 champions South Wilts.
