We’re pleased to bring a number of exciting young prospects into our Academy set-up for the coming season and they join a group of quality cricketers in Rory, George, Miles and Zac, who were all involved last year.
Charlie Freeston, Head of Player Development
They’ve all worked hard during this winter, including on our excellent February trip to Durban, and we’re looking forward to what we hope will be another positive season for us.
The Academy's first set of fixtures see them take on Waterlooville, St. Cross Symondians, Lymington Basingstoke and Burridge during the opening weeks of the season.
13 further fixtures will follow with the 2018 campaign due to conclude with an away trip to New Milton on 1st September.
The Hampshire Academy finished eighth in last year's Southern Electric Premier League, claiming five victories in a year which saw a number of many players impress against the best senior club players in Hampshire.
