2019 Members' & Life Members' Day Confirmed

The annual Members’ event will celebrate Hampshire Cricket legend Derek Shackleton

The annual Hampshire Cricket Members' Day returns to the The Ageas Bowl for 2019 on Monday 16th September - during Day One of Hampshire's final home Specsavers County Championship of the season - and this year runs alongside Life Members’ Day.

This year's Members' & Life Members' Day will commemorate the legendary former Hampshire bowler, Derek Shackleton, renowned for his accurate right-arm seam bowling which led him to a career First-Class bowling average of just 18.65.

The legendary bowler will be the topic of discussion during Q&A sessions throughout the day with special guest and son of Derek, Julian Shackleton, joining the Q&A to offer the inside track on his father as well as chatting about his own professional career, which he spent at Gloucestershire.

The celebratory and social day for Hampshire Cricket Members & Life Members begins at 9.30am within the Ageas Suite with tea, coffee and Danish pastries available for attendees upon arrival ahead of the red-ball action beginning.

Following a warm welcome to this year's social occasion, sit back and enjoy the first-class cricketing contest in style and enjoy a sumptuous two-course lunch and light tea during the day's breaks in play.

Tickets for 2019's Members' & Life Members' Day are £36 each with proceeds being distributed to Hampshire Cricket Heritage.
