Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

2021 BBC Radio Solent Sport Season Preview Special Confirmed

BBC Radio Solent Sport will host a Hampshire Cricket 'Season Preview' special next Tuesday 30th March, both online and across all of their radio frequencies

Hampshire Cricket are pleased to confirm that BBC Radio Solent Sport will host a 'Season Preview' special broadcast on Tuesday 30th March (7pm start), with a star panel set to feature.

Hampshire Cricket Chairman Rod Bransgrove, Club captain James Vince, Southern Vipers Head Coach Charlotte Edwards and Hampshire's Director of Cricket Giles White will be part of a virtual top-table for the event, hosted via Zoom by former Hampshire all-rounder and Solent Sport broadcaster, Kevan James.

The hour-long show will be broadcast live on all BBC Radio Solent Sport frequencies and online via the BBC Radio Solent Sport website, whilst a visual feed will be available on BBC Radio Solent Sport's Twitter channel.
