2021 County Championship Kit Unveiled With £5 From Every Shirt Sold Donated To NHS
The Club will make a £5 donation to Southampton Hospitals Charity for every LV= Insurance County Championship shirt sold during the 2021 season
Hampshire Cricket are delighted to unveil the Club's new playing kit for this year's LV= Insurance County Championship, alongside a commitment to raise further funds for Southampton Hospitals Charity in 2021 with a £5 donation to be made for each shirt sold during the upcoming season.
Hampshire’s new LV= Insurance County Championship kit is part of a long-term partnership with global athletic footwear and apparel brand, New Balance.
The partnership, which is New Balance’s first in county cricket, was announced last week alongside the launch of a new training wear range and opening of the Club’s new online store.
Today's announcement of additional fundraising support follows a number of fundraising initiatives run last year, efforts which resulted in a donation of more than £50,000 to Southampton Hospitals Charity in September.
These funds have directly supported the construction of a new rehabilitation space at University Hospital Southampton’s General Intensive Care Unit, helping to enhance the care, experience and outcomes for thousands of patients at the facility.
We’re all very conscious of the fantastic work being done by our NHS and through our partnership with University Hospital Southampton we’ve committed to raise funds to help with the construction of the new Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital.
The launch of our new 2021 LV= Insurance County Championship playing shirt is the first of a series of initiatives which we have planned in 2021 to help to support the lifesaving work being done at the facility, and we’re looking forward to extending our fundraising efforts throughout the course of the season.
