Mollie Adams, Eliza Bristowe, Eve O'Neill, and Shristi Patil are all included in England Women's U19s squad to play a tri-series with Sri Lanka and hosts Australia
Southern Vipers are pleased to announce a new Academy intake for the 2021 season.
A 14-strong squad has been selected ahead of this summer's campaign, with all players selected looking to develop their skills and experience as part of the player pathway system.
The squad, which is set up to feed into the main Southern Vipers team, will follow a fortnightly training schedule and also take part in competitive fixtures.
Having started the process in October of last year and eventually completed it in March I must thank all the nominees, parents and staff for all the patience and understanding they have shown.
Ian Cox, Southern Vipers Senior Regional Talent Manager
Congratulations to the 14 girls who have been selected; they all exhibited a huge desire to learn and certainly embraced the challenge during the observation program. Our aim is to provide an environment and support program that allows the players to develop and grow in all areas and we are all excited to be working with such a talented group of girls.
A full summer playing programme will see the side contest matches against other Academy sides, including South-East Stars, Southern Sparks, Northern Diamonds, Western Storm and Sunrisers Academies.
