2023: A Year In Review

As the year comes to an end, we have taken a look back at what has been a fantastic 2023 at The Ageas Bowl

Another thrilling summer of cricket arrived at The Ageas Bowl with both Hampshire and Southern Vipers contesting among the top teams in their domestic competitions. The Vipers ending their season as the first-ever Women's Regional double champions!

Record-breaking crowds flocked to the venue for the Vitality Blast and The Hundred, the latter seeing Southern Brave Women win their first Hundred title. Two sold-out England internationals also brought the world's best to on-field stage.

2023 saw 850 events, with approx 370,000 visitors arrive at The Ageas Bowl. This included the incredible Arctic Monkeys concert in June, which was a part of the band's biggest UK and Irish tour of their career to date and saw thousands dance the night away.

Plus, the install of a new amazing bar in the ballroom at Hilton at The Ageas Bowl. Enhancing the fantastic weddings and events experience already on offer. Renovations renewed and eforea Spa's shiny new look was unveiled in January and the spa is now a luxury oasis, for the ultimate relaxing escape.

The year ended with a bang at yet another sell-out Fireworks Party, which saw an incredible synchronised 20-minute display illuminate the sky in November, followed by over 8,000 Christmas party goers joining us for festive fun in December.

Not forgetting the incredible £416,000 raised for local charities at 12 charity events. It really has been an incredible year here at The Ageas Bowl.
