Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

2023 Second XI Fixtures Announced

View the full Hampshire Second XI fixtures ahead of the 2023 season

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) recently announced the Second XI fixtures for the 2023 season.

After friendlies against Solent University and Surrey, Hampshire begin their season in the Second XI Championship taking on south coast rivals Sussex. The opening fixture will start on Monday 17^th April at The Ageas Bowl.

Hampshire will also compete in the Second XI T20 competition, with fixtures beginning on 22nd May, when The Ageas Bowl contingent will host Kent. The group-stage of the competition consists of 10 fixtures in total, with Finals Day to be held on Thursday 15^th June at Wormsley.

As in previous seasons, T20 double-header fixtures will be played at approximately 11:30am and 3pm on each day. Most T20 Cup matches will begin at 2:00pm with other match times to be determined.
