Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Hampshire Academy batter Ben Mayes has been named in England Men’s U19 squad to face India U19s in a five-match Youth ODI series

Hampshire Academy batter Ben Mayes has been named in England Men’s U19 squad to play India U19s in a five-match Youth One-Day International series.

The series will begin on Friday 27 June at the 1^st Central County Ground in Hove before matches in Northampton and Worcester.

In his first series with England U19s, Mayes made 66 in his second match against Ireland and followed it up with 51 against South Africa.

For the Second XI this summer, Mayes has recorded 610 runs with one century, against Nottinghamshire, and two fifties.

We’ve selected an exciting squad for the ODI series. We have players who have a variety of white-ball skills and predominantly available for the ICC Under-19 World Cup in the winter. India Under-19s will provide a great challenge this summer and it’s a great opportunity for the boys to perform as a team and individually.
