Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

The Ageas Bowl To Host Australia v Australia A Tour Match

The home of Hampshire Cricket will host a four day Tour Match ahead of next summer's Ashes with free admission for Members

The Ageas Bowl will host a four-day Tour Match between Australia and Australia A - starting on Tuesday 23rd July - as Australia ramp up their preparations for 2019's Ashes Series.

The home of Hampshire Cricket are delighted to announce that Hampshire Members will be granted free admission to this match, with full fixture details announced in due course.

Australia last visited the The Ageas Bowl - then the Rose Bowl - for a Tour Match in 2001 when they faced Hampshire in a fixture which saw the home side secure a memorable victory on the fourth day.
