Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Former Southampton FC defender and Saints legend Francis Benali is coming to the end of a gruelling physical two weeks as he looks to raise £1M for Cancer Research.
Benali, who is often seen supporting Hampshire Cricket and at events held at the The Ageas Bowl, has been travelling to every Premier League and Championship football club by running a marathon and cycling at least 70 miles every day in order to raise money for the charity.
The two week challenge began on Sunday 2nd October at AFC Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium and will conclude at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium tomorrow (Sunday 16th October), with the 47-year-old having run more than 1,400 miles.
Benali will also be coming via the home of Hampshire Cricket during the final hours of his challenge, as he visits the The Ageas Bowl on his way to the final stop.
