And on the pitch? A rivalry steeped in T20 history.

Hampshire vs Somerset is one of the most iconic match-ups in Vitality Blast history – including the 2010 Final right here at the Ageas Bowl.

Somerset currently top the Men’s Blast table, but with Ellyse Perry set to make her first home appearance in a Hawks shirt, and a strong Hawks squad led by Georgia Adams, with key performers Maia Bouchier, Ella McCaughan and Freya Kemp, the women’s match will be just as fiercely contested.

Sunday 13th July – El Clasicoast

Bears Women vs Hampshire Hawks (11am)
Hampshire Hawks Men vs Sussex Sharks (3pm)

Three apex predators. Two thrilling matches. One unmissable day.

This double header sees the Bears, Sharks and Hawks all descend on Utilita Bowl for a blockbuster day of T20 cricket. The clash between Hampshire Hawks Men and Sussex Sharks is known as ‘El Clasicoast’ – the oldest T20 rivalry in the world, dating back to the first-ever Blast match, played here in 2003.

Relive the very first T20 Blast match held here in Southampton with the video below, featuring match highlights of the historic game and reflections from key players who featured in the fixture: Sussex captain Chris Adams and Hampshire batter Derek Kenway.

Expect passion, power, and a packed crowd for a game that always delivers.

Earlier in the day, we host Bears Women for the very first time at Utilita Bowl, fresh from winning the reverse fixture in Birmingham. Can Georgia Adams and co. turn the tables on home soil?

Big Players. Big Moments. Big Crowds.

Both Sundays are expected to feature some of the biggest names in the game, including:
