Hampshire’s Pre-Season Calendar Confirmed
Hampshire’s men and women will be going on tour in March with trips to Stellenbosch and Desert Springs, and five warm up matches
Hampshire seamer Brad Wheal has been named in a Scotland 12-man squad to face the MCC in a three-day fixture beginning today at Titwood, Clydesdale.
The 18-year-old, who qualifies to play for Scotland through his mother, is included in the national squad for the first time as he looks set to line-up alongside a number of players from Scotland’s ICC World T20 campaign, with captain Preston Mommsen leading the side once again.
Play begins at 11am and entry is free for all three days.
Squad: Preston Mommsen (capt), Hamish Gardiner, Michael English, Michael Leask, Richie Berrington, Dylan Budge, Craig Wallace (wk), Ruaidhri Smith, Harris Aslam, Mark Watt, Brad Wheal, Scotty Cameron.
