Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Club Statement: Hampshire to Appeal CDC Decision

The Club fined £4,000 for repeated discipline breaches

Hampshire Cricket has noted concerns on the part of some members and supporters about the penalty imposed on the Club by the Cricket Discipline Commission (“CDC”) at the Disciplinary Hearing held at Lords on 17th June 2015.

The Club is in the process of appealing the decision and the penalty imposed.

Under the circumstances it would be inappropriate for the Club to comment further until this appeal process has been determined.
