County Championship Rewind: Barker's Five Wickets Put Lancashire On The Back Foot

Keith Barker's five-wicket haul against Lancashire put Hampshire into a strong position against Lancashire at The Ageas Bowl

With the 2022 season now firmly in the rear-view mirror we're taking a look back at some of the performances that caught the eye throughout the campaign.

One of Hampshire's star all-rounders Keith Barker claimed his second LV=CC five-wicket haul of the 2022 season in the thrilling match between Hampshire and Lancashire at The Ageas Bowl.

Barker helped Hampshire claim a small first innings lead against his home county as the left-armer claimed the wicket of Wells as his first victim, caught behind by Ben Brown.

The in-form Bohannon was Barker's next wicket as the top order batsman could only edge a length delivery into the hands of Joe Weatherley at 3rd slip.

Lancashire captain Dane Vilas was the next man to fall to Barker, caught behind once again by Brown as Barker found some extra bounce just short of a length.

Phil Salt and Tom Bailey put on 94 together before Barker bowled the former for 55.

Barker then wrapped up the innings and his haul by having Hasan Ali caught on the boundary by Liam Dawson for 19.
