Hampshire players selected in England Women Pathway squads
England Women have announced the Performance Programme intake U19 Training squad for the 2025/26 winter, with a total of five Hampshire players included.
With the 2022 season now firmly in the rear-view mirror we're taking a look back at some of the performances that caught the eye throughout the campaign.
Holland opened the batting with Felix Organ in response to Warwickshire's 217 in their first innings.
Organ, number three Nick Gubbins, Captain James Vince, and nightwatchman Kyle Abbott were all dismissed early, leaving Hampshire 78-4.
Holland combined with Liam Dawson (92) to lead Hampshire's recovery in a 137-run stand which put the home side back on the front foot.
The American faced 203 balls in his knock, which included 13 fours, but agonisingly he cut a short ball into the hands of Burgess behind the stumps off former Hampshire spinner Danny Briggs.
Hampshire managed a sizeable first-innings lead and ended the match with a comprehensive win by eight wickets on day four.
