Hampshire’s Pre-Season Calendar Confirmed
Hampshire’s men and women will be going on tour in March with trips to Stellenbosch and Desert Springs, and five warm up matches
With the 2022 season now firmly in the rear-view mirror we're taking a look back at some of the performances that caught the eye throughout the campaign.
Captain Vince led from the front as Hampshire racked up a commanding total of 652/6 declared against Kent at Canterbury.
The skipper was the first of three Hampshire batters to reach three figures as Liam Dawson (171), and Ben Brown (157) both dominated the Kent bowling attack on a flat pitch.
Vince’s innings included 19 typically elegant boundaries, including a stunning cover drive off Australian seamer Jackson Bird.
Kent had a deficit of 347 heading into their second innings and were bowled out for only 296, with Hampshire victorious by an innings and 51 runs.
