County Championship Rewind: Weatherley's Career Best

In the first game of Hampshire’s 2022 County Championship campaign, Joe Weatherley hit a career-best score against Somerset.

After bowling Somerset out for only 180, Weatherley shared a massive 180-run partnership with fellow opener Ian Holland.

The 25-year-old hit 19 boundaries and one maximum in his mammoth innings.

Weatherley’s effort set up the game perfectly as Hampshire dismissed Somerset for only 135 in their second innings, securing victory by an innings and 113 runs.
