Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Hampshire leg-spinner Mason Crane took an impressive 4-49 for Australian side, Gordon Cricket Club, as he made an excellent First Grade debut against the University of New South Wales Cricket Club.
After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, Gordon posted an imposing 407-9d on the opening day of the two-day match, courtesy of a fine century from E Richtor (130) as well as half-centuries from Cameron Eccles (83) and Daniel Smith (57*).

Crane then claimed an excellent four-wicket haul on the second day, whilst three wickets for Charlie Stobo (3-20) and two for Smith (2-33) helped the visitors claim a comfortable 250-run victory.
Next up for Crane and Gordon is a trip to Bankstown Cricket Club in a two day fixture beginning on Saturday.
