Joseph Eckland And Daisy Mullan Released
Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
Former Hampshire fast-bowler David Balcombe has announced his retirement from professional cricket.
London-born Balcombe came through Surrey's academy but joined Hampshire after impressing for Durham MCCU, making his debut in 2006.
There is no doubt that is was the 2012 season which saw Balcombe really make his mark on the Hampshire team as he took 59 first-class wickets, finishing the campaign as the Championship Division Two leading wicket-taker.
In total, Balcombe made 52 first-class appearances for Hampshire which included best figures of 8-71 against Gloucestershire in April 2012 at the The Ageas Bowl.
The right-arm fast-bowler joined Surrey from Hampshire at the end of the 2014 season.
Hampshire Cricket wishes David all the best for the future.
