Joseph Eckland And Daisy Mullan Released
Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
Twenty20 cricket fans will be able to join the action and excitement of the new NatWest T20 Blast season by playing a new edition of a Fantasy Game launched by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Following the game’s success last season – with more than 18,000 fans entering, the free-to-play Fantasy Game challenges fans to pick and manage their “dream team” of county cricket’s T20 stars within a budget to stand the chance of winning big cash prizes.
Participants will automatically enter the main competition for the grand prize of £2,020.
Players will also compete with their fellow county fans in one of 18 mini-leagues – one for each county, with the winners of these mini-leagues winning £300. Players can also create up to 15 private mini-leagues to compete against friends, family and colleagues.
More than 100 county cricketers also entered teams, with Benny Howell of Gloucestershire CCC winning the players’ mini league and a £500 donation to a charity of his choice as a result (Gloucestershire Cricket Trust).
Fans are advised to enter before Gameweek 1 begins on Friday May 15 by picking their team at t20blast.fantasy.ecb.co.uk, and are invited to share their team on twitter using #FantasyCricket.
