Vitality Blast Rewind: Dawson Takes Three Against Surrey

With the 2022 season now firmly in the rear-view mirror we're taking a look back at some of the performances that caught the eye throughout the campaign.

Eventual Vitality Blast champions Hampshire Hawks fell to 0-4 after their 72-run loss to Surrey at The Oval.

Despite defeat in the capital, Liam Dawson showed his nous with the ball, claiming three of the four Surrey wickets to fall.

The night started positively, Dawson bowling England international Jason Roy with just the third ball of the match.

Dawson's next two wickets would come in the 13th over. Mason Crane caught Will Jacks first before Sam Curran was caught by Crane again after skying a Dawson delivery straight up in the air.
