Vitality Blast Rewind: Fuller Takes Four As Hawks Make Finals Day
James Fuller took four wickets at Edgbaston in the quarter-final of the 2022 Vitality Blast.
With the 2022 season now firmly in the rear-view mirror we're taking a look back at some of the performances that caught the eye throughout the campaign.
Batting first, the Hawks were lifted to an imposing total of 186-6 thanks to the big-hitting of Ben McDermott and Joe Weatherley, who scored 61 and 47, respectively.
Warwickshire struggled in response, Nathan Ellis striking in the second over as Joe Weatherley caught the dangerous Paul Stirling for just one.
James Fuller was the destroyer of the home side's middle order, first bowling the dangerous Adam Hose with a searing yorker for 16.
In his next over, Fuller had both Benjamin and Carlos Braithwaite caught in front of the wicket.
Fuller then took his fourth as Dan Mousley could only direct a short delivery into the hands of Joe Weatherley at extra cover.
