Eddie Jack Selected For U19 Test Squad Against Sri Lanka

Hampshire pace bowler Eddie Jack has been included in England Men’s U19 Test squad to play Sri Lanka later this month

Hampshire fast bowler Eddie Jack has been selected in England Men U19s Test squad to play Sri Lanka U19s later this month.

Both Jack and fellow Academy player Dom Kelly are in England Men U19s ODI squad for their three-match series which currently sits at 1-1 with the final match on Wednesday 3rd July at the 1st Central County Ground, Hove.

Jack made his England U19s debut in August 2022 in a Youth Test, also against Sri Lanka, where he picked up 2-62 in the first innings, and featured in England U19s Ashes tour of 2022-23 where he claimed 2-26 in England’s 24-run win.

Kelly featured in the second ODI where he blitzed 32* off 11 balls to help England to a mammoth 360-7 after a century from Nottinghamshire’s Freddie McCann and 66 from Essex’s Noah Thain.

The all-rounder then picked up two wickets as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 330 in the final over.

England Men U19s v Sri Lanka U19s two-match Youth Test series on Monday 8th July at Wormsley with the second match taking place at Cheltenham College on Tuesday 16th July.
