Hours: 37.5 hours per week (for 39 weeks, not a permanent role)
Location: The Ageas Bowl
Expenses: £100 per week + freelance coaching opportunities may be available during the evenings, weekends and school holidays.
Applicants must:
Be a full time undergraduate studying a full-time sport based course at a UK university
An industry placement must be a requirement of your curricula
Hold a (minimum) level 2 cricket coaching certificate
Hold an up to date DBS check and first aid certificate
Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the coaching manager, whilst:
Assisting with the delivery of 20 hours of cricket coaching on the SCL EICA College scheme to 16-18 year olds.
Assisting with the marketing and administration of coaching courses and 1:1 programme for 17.5 hours per week.
Principle Responsibilities:
Support planning, marketing, organisation and delivery of coaching under the auspices of the Elite International Cricket Academy
To assist with administrative support in the following areas:
Coaching Courses
One to One Coaching
Customer Feedback
Social Media
To assist with marketing support in the above areas
To assist with delivery of coaching to participants in the following environments: Coaching Courses, SCL EICA College Scheme
To liaise closely with all staff of Hampshire Cricket and the EICA, and, where appropriate, liaison with external organisations.
Responsibilities may be amended, we will update you prior to any changes.
Core hours for the role are between 9am-5pm (30 minutes lunch), however due to the nature of the environment, duties may be carried out outside of these if it is more effective/appropriate. This may involve out of hours evenings, weekends and bank holidays where necessary.
