Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Hampshire Cricket can announce that Fidel Edwards will join Birmingham Bears for 10 Vitality Blast fixtures as part of a month-long loan.
The paceman, who signed a red-ball contract with Hampshire ahead of his fifth season with the Club in 2019, joins the Edgbaston-based side for the start of this summer’s T20 competition.
Edwards will then return to the The Ageas Bowl for the resumption of the Specsavers County Championship.
The 37-year-old has had another stellar four-day campaign for James Vince’s side, sitting sixth in the list of top wicket-takers in Division One after claiming 40 wickets at an average of 23.90 in 10 fixtures so far this season.
