Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Hampshire's First Home Friendly Cancelled

Wet weather has caused the first home friendly of the season at the The Ageas Bowl to be called off

Hampshire's first home pre-season friendly against Kent on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd March has been cancelled due to a wet outfield at the The Ageas Bowl.

After periods of heavy snow and rain during the past several weeks, it has been advised that play would be very unlikely this week.

The next scheduled pre-season fixture will see Hampshire take on Sussex in a two-day match set to get underway on Monday 26th March.
