Dan Scott's masterful 105 not out set the tone for Hampshire in the South Division of the National Disability Championship.

Brothers Alex and Hugo Hammond fell for 43 and 38, leaving the home side on 119 for 4, but Scott was then joined by Ben Hyde (87).

Only England international Fred Bridges (2 for 12 in 8 overs) was able to stem the flow, accounting for Hampshire's England Lions pair Tom Millward and Will Flynn.

The visitors were bowled out for 152 in reply, with Alex Hammond (3 for 24) the pic of the bowlers. 

Flynn and Millward made amends by claiming two wickets each while Gayle (31) top-scored for Surrey.

Hampshire travel to Harlow to take on Essex on Sunday May 22nd.
