Following the publication of new guidelines four balls are now permitted at Boundary Lakes Golf Course with the parkland course open to both Members and Non-Members.
Visitors or Non-Members are able to play - subject to availability - throughout the day during the week (7:30am - 6:30pm, £30 per person) and after 11am at weekends (£35 per person), with the latest tee time booking available being 6pm.
Please note, tee times must be booked in advance, either online or over the phone on 02382 020909.
Visitors are also able to book buggies (£20 per buggy) and electric trolleys (£10 per trolley) and this can be done by emailing [email protected] or calling 02382 020909.
The new guidelines from the government and England Golf, combined with a number of precautionary measures introduced by Boundary Lakes Golf Course, mean:
Golfers must maintain a two metre distance at all times – both on the course and within any open facilities with shaking hands not permitted
Only golfers will be permitted on the course – no caddies or walkers
All tee times must be booked in advance, with no walk-ins permitted
Boundary Lakes’ Clubhouse will remain closed
The toilets adjacent to the Pro Shop will be open but changing facilities remain closed
The putting green and practice pod remain closed
The net adjacent to the first tee is available for use – a maximum of one person permitted to use the net at any given time
Flagsticks are not to be touched or removed
Rakes have been removed from all bunkers – pick and place applies within bunkers accordingly
Ball washers and benches are out of action
Buggies are available to book on a first-come-first-served basis – they will be cleaned and sanitised after every round/usage, with only one person permitted in each buggy unless from the same household
Arrival to Boundary Lakes should not be more than 20 minutes in advance of a tee time
Arrival to the first tee should not be more than 5 minutes in advance of a tee time
A starter will be present on the first tee
Picking up or touching a fellow golfer’s ball or equipment is not permitted
Golfers should use the hand sanitisation stations made available as regularly as possible
Golfers are only permitted to play one ball and any lost balls should only be looked for for one minute
