Free Buses Return To The Ageas Bowl For This Summer’s Vitality Blast

Free bus services from Southampton Airport Parkway and Hedge End Train Stations will provide seamless supporter travel for sports fans visiting The Ageas Bowl for this summer’s T20 matches.

Sports fans heading to The Ageas Bowl to watch the Hampshire Hawks this summer will again benefit from free buses connecting local train stations to the stadium. The hassle-free, environmentally friendly service has quickly become a firm favourite with event-goers, delivering over 20,000 supporter journeys in 2022.

Free buses will be available for all fans from both Hedge End and Southampton Airport Parkway Train Stations, running before, during and after each T20 match.

The shuttle bus provision makes it easier than ever to avoid rush hour traffic, with journeys from Winchester, Portsmouth, Salisbury and Bournemouth all just a short train ride away.

We were overwhelmed by the positive response to our free bus service in 2022 and can’t wait to welcome fans back aboard for another massive summer of T20 cricket. With huge benefits for our supporters and the environment, this really is the best way for fans to travel to support the Hawks throughout the season.

Greig Stewart, Head of Supporter Experience at The Ageas Bowl

The return of the free bus service will be welcomed by fans, who voted it as their favourite way to travel to matches in supporter feedback surveys last year. It is just one of a number of initiatives being rolled out at The Ageas Bowl to make it easier, cleaner and cheaper to attend events at the stadium.
