Full Schedule Unveiled For ICC Women's T20 World Cup
Six matches across four days will be held in Southampton during the tournament in 2026
The full schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has officially been revealed today with six matches across four days coming to Southampton. During the tournament, Utilita Bowl will be referred to as Hampshire Bowl.
Firstly, West Indies and New Zealand will battle it out at the venue on Saturday 13th June. A double header then arrives with New Zealand taking on Sri Lanka, before England take on one of the teams who is yet to qualify.
The White Ferns are back in Southampton to face off against another who is yet to qualify on Friday 19th June. To conclude matches at the venue, another double header will see Australia and Pakistan in action against teams to be confirmed.
With the semi-finals and final already confirmed to take place in London, at The Oval and Lord’s respectively; Southampton is one of a number of iconic venues including Edgbaston, Headingley, Old Trafford Cricket Ground and Bristol County Ground that will also play their part in showcasing world-class cricket throughout the earlier stages of the landmark tournament.
Hundreds of thousands of cricket fans will have the opportunity to witness nail-biting showdowns between the likes of Australia and South Africa, India and Pakistan, and New Zealand and the West Indies, as the tournament travels the length of the country, firmly propelling women’s cricket into the mainstream.
The tournament will not only give fans across the nation a chance to see world-famous cricketers in action but will also affect lasting change by inspiring countless women and girls across the country to get involved with cricket.
