Georgia Adams Claims Women’s Domestic MVP Of The Year

Southern Vipers’ captain Georgia Adams has been rated the PCA’s Most Valuable Player for the 2022 women’s domestic season.

Adams scored 463 runs across the Charlotte Edwards Cup, Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, and The Hundred.

The all-rounder also claimed 24 wickets across the three competitions, with a best of 3-34 in the final of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy against Northern Diamonds at Lord’s.

She also led the Southern Vipers in every game of the season, recording 11 wins in 13 matches – losing only to the Northern Diamonds in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

Hampshire Cricket’s Keith Barker was also named as the PCA’s MVP for the LV= Insurance County Championship.
