Hampshire Cricket & Lashings World XI Fundraising Fixture Details Confirmed

Hampshire Cricket and Lashings World XI have today announced further details for this summer’s exciting charity fundraising fixture, taking place at The Ageas Bowl on Saturday 28^th August.

The match, which is one of two events organised as part of an innovative new partnership with Hampshire Cricket Foundation becoming the official charity of Lashings World XI in 2021, will see a Hampshire All-Star XI and a Lashings World XI go head-to-head in a T20 contest.

The fixture is one of two games to played on the day with the Southern Vipers taking on South East Stars in a T20 clash on the same afternoon.

Lashings World XI have already confirmed the selection of a number of cricketing legends with Devon Malcolm, Adam Hollioake, Ryan Sidebottom, Chris Lewis all featuring, as well as special guest, Sir Gordon Greenidge.

Tickets for the day are available now at just £10 for Adults and £5 for U17s, with proceeds from ticket sales going to the NHS and Southampton Hospitals Charity to help support the construction of a new rehabilitation space at University Hospital Southampton's General Intensive Care Unit.

The fundraising double-header is one of two events to underpin the partnership with The Ageas Bowl’s Boundary Lakes Golf Course hosting a Sir Gordon Greenidge Golf Day on Wednesday 21^st July. Greenidge, a former Hampshire and West Indies star, will again be on hand to support the event with a range of sporting personalities set to feature.
