Hampshire Cricket College Celebrates Student Achievements

Hampshire Cricket College students receive specialist coaching from Hampshire coaches

Hampshire Cricket College – which provides male and female students the opportunity to train and play cricket alongside full-time study - is celebrating the achievements of five of its students.

Archie Faifax-Ross has been selected to train with the Hampshire Cricket Under 18 development group while James Brewer and Max Bentley have been selected to train with Wiltshire Under 18 squad.

In addition, Tom Varney and Ollie Morgan have been selected for the Isle of Wight Elite Player Programme.

Hampshire Cricket College students receive specialist coaching from Hampshire Cricket coaches and have the opportunity to take part in competitive fixtures during the summer.

The 2022/23 academic year will see Hampshire Cricket partner with Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, creating a new Hampshire Cricket Programme delivered on-site at Barton Pevril with students able to combine the opportunity to train and play cricket with any of the academic programmes offered at the sixth form college.

An information evening about the Hampshire Cricket Programme at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College is taking place at The Ageas Bowl early next year.

The event on Monday 14 February is open for all pupils in Year 11 who are looking to study at Barton Peveril in 2022 and are interested in joining one of Barton Peveril's cricket teams.
